What is the NEXT Roundtable Group?

NEXT is a bi-monthly virtual roundtable designed for entrepreneurs in Solano and Napa Counties who are ready to grow, connect, and exchange actionable ideas. Hosted on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, this interactive forum offers a space for business owners at all stages to collaborate, share strategies, and problem-solve in real time.

Whether you’re navigating startup challenges, exploring new growth tactics, or simply looking to expand your network, NEXT gives you access to a supportive community of like-minded entrepreneurs and expert facilitators. Each session focuses on relevant, practical topics—ranging from marketing and funding to operations and leadership—so you leave with fresh insights and tools to move your business forward.

Am I Eligible to Join?

NEXT is open to entrepreneurs in Solano or Napa County. Spaces are limited. By joining the group, you are expected to show up monthly and participate, including providing input and encouragement to others in the group.

When, Where, and How Long do we Meet? 

NEXT meets twice monthly online via Zoom, every second and fourth Wednesday, 6:30-7:30pm.

You must meet the qualifications and there must be enough space in the group.

What’s the Cost?

There is currently no membership fee and no charge for meetings or any of the group’s activities, thanks to funding support by the Solano-Napa Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

However, you must apply to be accepted. Spaces are limited. See above for the eligibility criteria of the group.

Who are We?

NEXT is led by Tara Cruz, a Business Advisor for the Solano-Napa Small Business Development Center (SBDC). 

In her consulting work, Tara guides businesses at various stages of business development, from start up to planned growth. Her specialty is working with lean start up businesses, pivots, and marketing.

Other Details

All meetings are held online using Zoom so members can more easily participate – no additional travel time required!

As part of joining this group, you consent to receiving direct emails from the group leader, with your email is visible and shared among the group. Your info is not shared with anyone outside of the group and your information is confidential.
