Canva makes it possible—and this workshop series will show you how to use it with confidence. Whether you’re brand new to Canva or looking to sharpen your skills, this series is designed to help you create branded, professional content that gets noticed.

In just one hour per week over 4 weeks, you’ll learn how to set up your visual brand, use templates effectively, design print and digital content that connects with your audience, and explore Canva’s advanced tools. 

Each session is hands-on, beginner-friendly, and packed with demos and real-world examples you can use right away.

This series is ideal for small business owners and marketing do-it-yourselfers who want to save time, stay consistent, and stand out online—without needing a design background.

  • Week 1 (Mar 4): Getting Started with Canva — An introduction to the Canva dashboard and design interface; learn to set up and use Canva’s Brand Kit (logos, fonts, brand colors); how to organize your work in Canva.
  • Week 2 (Mar 11): Canva’s Workspace and Templates — Get started with Canva’s template library, delve into Canva’s key design tools and capabilities, and best practices for maintaining brand consistency.
  • Week 3 (Mar 18): Creating Content that Connects — Create both digital and print materials, design social media graphics, flyers, and banners that pop.
  • Week 4 (Mar 25): Advanced Canva — Repurpose designs into different formats, explore Canva’s AI tools, and manage your marketing portfolio within Canva.
