The Solano-Napa SBDC presents Food INCubator, a six-week program for aspiring food entrepreneurs in Solano and Napa.

What is Food INCubator?

Offered at no-cost and led by chef-instructors from the NorCal Restaurant Program, Food INCubator is designed for those new to the food industry or serious about starting a cottage, artisan food, or catering business.

Training includes a kitchen lab and classroom trainings:

  • Perfect your product in a commercial kitchen
  • Work alongside chef instructors
  • Present your product at a special event
  • ServSafe California Food Protection Manager Training and Certification
  • Perfect your product in a commercial kitchen
  • Work alongside chef instructors
  • Present your product at a special event
  • ServSafe California Food Protection Manager Training and Certification

When and Where is it?

  • Attend the Information Session ONLINE on April 21, 4-6pm.
  • If accepted, you will meet weekly IN PERSON at Solano Community College in Fairfield for six weeks.
  • These Classes/kitchen lab trainings are every Wednesday, 4 to 8 pm, from April 27 to May 1, 2022 (six weeks).

  1. Sign up to attend an INFORMATIONAL MEETING on April 21, 4-6 ONLINE (via Zoom)
  2. Complete the online INTEREST FORM prior to the informational meeting.
