The old saying, “it’s lonely at the top” rings true for many business owners. It can be hard to find people around you who understand and relate to both your daily challenges and achievements. That is why it is so important to leverage the resources around you – and your fellow business owners.

The Solano Napa SBDC offers several business roundtables in both Solano and Napa counties for business owners to come together, share their experiences, and receive guidance and advice from their peers.

“This is a safe place for our business owners, where they can interact and receive the guidance they need. We all recognize that none of us is as smart as all of us.”

Tim Murrill, Director, Solano Napa SBDC

The business roundtables meet once a month and are limited to 12 participants. Each meeting is approximately two hours long and include discussions on business best practices and presentations from business owners.

“This really gives us the opportunity to take it to the next level,” said Kim Whittaker, a business owner in Vacaville.

The Solano County Roundtables are in Fairfield and Vacaville as well as a third roundtable specifically for business owners in the manufacturing industry in Vacaville. For information on the Solano County Roundtables, email bboyd@solanowdb.org

In Napa County, the Napa Women in Successful Enterprises (WISE) Roundtable, meets virtually on the third Tuesday of the month. This roundtable is funded by Redwood Credit Union and is specifically for women business owners in Napa County. To learn more about the WISE Roundtable, email cbalach.sbdc@gmail.com
